What is OCPS?

Ontario Creative Problem Solvers, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and enrichment for elementary and secondary school students in fulfilling the learning expectations outlined in the Ministry of Education curriculum documents. Ontario Creative Problem Solvers Inc. was previously known as ONOMA (Ontario Odyssey of the Mind Association). For the past twenty-two years, these organizations have brought the international creative problem-solving program, Odyssey of the Mind™, to K-12 students in Ontario. During that time, we have been successful in expanding the creativity program to include more students in more school boards across Ontario.

We facilitate student participation in the annual World Finals competition by organizing and hosting the Ontario provincial competition. We are available to answer questions regarding the program, to provide training and workshops for coaches, t-shirts and pins for student teams, and guidance and support throughout the problem-solving process.
